Everyone is invited to participate in any of our classes and find what works for you. All of our classes accommodate every level of practice. The most important thing to remember is to be present on your mat because each day our bodies respond differently. Today’s practice will be different from yesterday’s and tomorrow’s. Be present. Awareness Through Movement
You will be amazed at what a little movement can improve!
Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes heighten your awareness of how you can change movement patterns with small gentle moves and breathing. Changes that unlock the power of our own design.
Gentle Yoga
This nurturing class is accessible for all levels. Gentle stretching, breath work, and grounded postures using "...all the props" as Nicoles says will strengthen and bring balance to the mind and body. This meditative practice is perfect for those new to yoga, recovering from injury, or like a slower, more introspective class. Plenty of instruction and modifications are always offered.
Hot 90
Come sweat with us. We are the real deal!
Heal your body from the inside out with 90 minutes of Bikram Yoga. 26 postures and two breathing exercises (often called 26&2 Yoga). This class will help you build strength, flexibility and endurance. yogaQUEST is Tulsa's only authentic Bikram studio where the teachers have their full 9 week Certification and the room is the official 105-108* with 40% humidity.
Hot Vinyasa
Our Hot Vinyasa class uses the vinyasa concept of one breath/one movement to build to a cardiovascular flow. Class starts with a warm up and sun salutation followed by longer-held postures that are incorporated into the class flow. Additional strengthening and stretching postures matched to the peak poses help guide students into studying the postures and how to properly perform them in each individual body. This class is done in a heated room with music and is always fun!
Yin
As a compliment to the practices of movement, Yin is the perfect practice to gently provide mobility and flexibility to our body's soft tissues as a way of enhancing support to our muscles. Sequences inspired b Eastern medicine along with science-based movement mindfully create the perfect way to relax and unwind while supporting the functionality of soft tissues.
Power Pilates HIIT
Are you ready for a challenging full-body workout using Pilates principles? Show up for this high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that is a low impact, safe practice for all fitness levels of students.
Each workout will strengthen your abs, glutes, and legs with some cardio blast in between. You are in charge of your intensity as the instructor offers options for most exercises. Be prepared to sweat!
Hot 90 Music Class
The same "real deal", Bikram Yoga, (26+2) with a cool playlist led by a Certification Teacher. Experience a different kind of practice with us.
Hot 60
Its a scientific fact that a 90 minute practice will do more for your sympathetic nervous system. But, life can mess with our routine, When that happens, this condensed Bikram (26+2) class can still energize and calm you. Some postures practice once, some twice, depending on the Teacher.
Yin/Restorative
Your body needs to slow down an restore. Join us for a 60 minute class to re-set you mind and body. All levels. Postures modified for your specific needs. Please discuss any issues you might have with Patricia before class if you are new to this practice.
Hot Beats
Our Hot 60 class lead by Nicole Payne.
Nicole will teach this class with playlists from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Practice the 26&2 series with motivating beats in the background.
Stretch and Strength
What is the difference between Lifespan and Health span? Research has identified the seven movements to create a healthy future which equals optimal health or Health span. A future without optimal health is Lifespan. Come explore the science of movement to maximize our health span and ensure that we can maintain health and mobility long into the future. This class focuses on daily living movements that can be easily integrated into our daily life.
Hot 60 Happy Hour
Wind down your week with a fun Hot 60 class. It's the 26&2 series with background music and whatever creative twist the teacher feels like adding that day.
Classic Hatha Yoga
Each class will typically include centering, different breathing techniques, warm-up, sun salutations, standing postures, balancing, backbends, forward bends, and twists ending in a long savasana. Modifications are offered. Themes are presented each month with asana (posture changes). Modifications are offered. Patricia will share her knowledge of the Chakras and Yoga Sutras. *Students need to be able to get on and off the floor.
Functional Movement
Our physical body is one of the greatest gifts we will ever receive. Our physical body is our first and last support system; in fact, being our support system is our body’s primary purpose. All our body asks of us is to be given an opportunity to do its job, on a continuous basis. Caring for our bodies is how we respond to this request. During your functional movement class, you will experience a variety of poses/movements that enhance the support you provide your body to move through real-world actions. Subtle movements that lead to juicing the joints, caring for forgotten parts or becoming aware of the beautiful asymmetry of our body and how that asymmetry purposefully moves us in/out of virtually every movement we make – or don’t make.
